Twitter App Smackdown
Twitter is one of the most known social media outlets out there today. Up there with the big platforms like Instagram and Tik Tok, it is very useful in its own way. Like Instagram and Tik Tok, it is perfect for advertisement and business. A useful platform to advertise a product and to stay updated with news today. In todays constantly changing world, staying updated is a very important skill.
Twitter is a great platform to stay updated in todays fast changing world. As college students, it is important for us to stay updated and connected with the world. I think twitter is useful in this sense, and also the professional aspect of it. I explained in the video I made the specific professional features that twitter has. You can monetize your account, put up ads to create some extra income, and the main professional tab feature that lets you connect your account to professionals.
You are right. Twitter is perfect to do advertising and stay on top of things as well. You just have to be careful who you follow these days, but in general I can see this app being very useful!
I found your smackdown very interesting, because Twitter has become such a popular social media sight. Personally I do not use twitter, however I see how it can be useful in connecting with people and sharing thoughts and opinions. It can help people stay connected and updated on things they find interesting. I liked finding out about some of the features I did not know existed on Twitter.
Manny, I have mixed emotions of twitter. In my opinion it can be somewhat hard to find things you are looking for. But I do like how twitter allows its users to voice their opinions and share them with the world. But at the same time, people need to be careful of what they say.
Hi Manny. I like how you displayed Twitter's fast paced spread of information and how essential it is in today’s world of technology. It without a doubt has been around for a long time, but now more than ever has shown how valuable it is. With competing apps like tiktok and facebook, it is by far the most easy app to become accustomed to and use to learn, spread, and share information around the world.
Was very interesting how you chose a social media application as your smackdown. Twitter is definitely, like Facebook and Instagram, an immediate connection and communication application, and as someone who's never used Twitter, I never knew that there is a "professional option" for the application to be used to create revenue from it!
Manny, I use twitter to follow current events like the war in Ukraine and other conflicts. It is definitely a good tool whether you are a journalist looking to stay in the loop, or post your own stories. As you point out, also a good marketing tool for companies.
Manny, your presentation was interesting to watch, and I learned about the new Twitter features. I agree that Twitter can be utilized to generate extra income. I know someone who makes money on Twitter.
Hello Manuel, your smackdown on Twitter was very informative because I do not have a Twitter account. When I think of apps like Twitter, Instagram, and Tik Tok, I only think of their entertainment aspect, so I am happy that many students also plan to use these apps for professional purposes.
Hi Manny! I didn't know Twitter accounts could be monetized. I'm certainly more critical of Twitter since the Elon takeover. I also appreciate the professionals tab, but again, with the sale I'm not confident in the accuracy and confirmation of the members.
hello Manny, i really love twitter it has become a huge help to my platform because i am a twitch streamer and think that twitter is great way to advertise and gain a community it helps you followers to engage in your social accounts. it helps with advertising your community and follower other people very good presentation twitter is the best!
